Linford Christie has quit 'The Jump' and is being replaced by James 'Arg' Argent.
The former athlete suffered a hamstring injury but didn't recover in time to train for this week's show, forcing him to quit.
A statement said: "It is with regret that Linford Christie has to withdraw from 'The Jump'.
"Despite recovering from a hamstring injury he was not left with enough time to train for this weekend's show and reach the standard needed to compete.
"Last week's eliminated competitor James 'Arg' Argent will return to the competition to take his place."
And Arg is looking forward to being given a "second chance".
Speaking after he was reinstated, he shared: "Now I have a second chance I want to show what I can really do.
"It is an honour to be passed the baton by Linford Christie and I'll hopefully make him proud - and have fun along the way."
Meanwhile, Arg's former 'The Only Way Is Essex' co-star Ferne McCann previously teased he would be making a return to the show.
She said: "I spoke to Arg, I rang him up and said 'Arg, I'm doing a bit on 'The Jump', give me the goss!' He got kicked out the competition on Sunday, he said he was loving it and learnt so much. He said 'I might be going back in!'"
