'Line of Duty' leads the National Television Awards nominations with four nods.
The BBC police procedural show is up for the Returning Drama accolade, alongside 'Call the Midwife', 'The Crown', and 'Unforgotten', and the programme's three main stars will face off in the Drama Performance category.
Adrian Dunbar (Ted Hastings), Martin Compston (Steve Arnott), and Vicky McClure (Kate Fleming) are used to working together as part of an anti-corruption unit in the drama series.
But they will do battle against one another, as well as 'Des' star David Tennant - who portrayed serial killer Dennis Nilsen in the ITV miniseries - and Olly Alexander, for his lead role as Ritchie Tozer in 'It’s A Sin'.
Both the Channel 4 programme and 'Des' are also up for the New Drama prize, alongside 'Normal People' and 'Bridgerton'.
Elsewhere, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will be hoping to win their 20th TV Presenter accolade in a row, but they will have to overcome former 'Good Morning Britain' host Piers Morgan, 'The Chase' frontman Bradley Walsh, and 'This Morning' duo Holly Willoughby and Alison Hammond.
The ITV brunchtime show is also up for the Daytime award, alongside 'Loose Women', 'The Chase', and 'The Repair Shop'.
'GMB' host Kate Garraway has a nod for 'Finding Derek', her documentary about her husband Derek Draper's coronavirus ordeal and his subsequent battle with the after-effects, which is still ongoing.
She is up against 'Katie Price: Harvey and Me', 'Marcus Rashford: Feeding Britain’s Children', 'Rob Burrow: My Year With MND', and 'Roman Kemp: Our Silent Emergency'.
Joel Dommett is the new host of the NTAs this year, and he could also taste some success during the ceremony - which will take place on September 9th - as 'The Masked Singer', which he presents, is up for the Talent Show accolade.
But the programme will face stiff competition from 'Britain's Got Talent', 'RuPaul's Drag Race UK', and 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
In the Serial Drama category, 'EastEnders', 'Emmerdale', 'Hollyoaks' and 'Coronation Street' will do battle.
What's more, Channel 4 sitcom 'Friday Night Dinner' - which has ended following the death of Paul Ritter, who played patriarch Martin Goodman - has a nomination in the Comedy section, alongside 'Sex Education', 'After Life' and the return of 'The Vicar of Dibley'.
The star-studded NTAs ceremony will be broadcast live on ITV on 9th September 2021 from 7.30pm.
