Lily Rabe has officially signed up for the fifth season of American Horror Story, where she'll be playing a serial killer according to an exclusive report from Entertainment Weekly.
The actress has to-date appeared on all four seasons of the FX anthology series, and though she's currently appearing on ABC's The Whispers, she'll now portray a famous murderer who's stayed at the titular hotel.
Her most recent appearance in the series came in a flashback in Freak Show, where Pepper (Naomi Grossman) was involved with Rabe's character from Asylum, Sister Mary Eunice.
She played Nora Montgomery in the first season of the show, Murder House, and Stevie Nicks-loving hippie Misty Day in Coven, season three.
American Horror Story: Hotel premieres in America on FX this October, also starring Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson, Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Chloe Sevigny, Finn Wittrock, Evan Peters and Wes Bentley.
