Les Dennis has begged people not to be scared of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The former 'Coronation Street' actor - who played
Michael Rodwell on the cobbles from 2014 to 2016 - has received his jab, and encouraged his fans across the UK to follow his example.
In a video shared by Wilmslow Health Centre, he said: "Hello, Les Dennis here. I've just had my jab and I have to say, I know there are a lot of people in the world wary and nervous but please don't be.
"It's very simple, I hardly felt anything. I didn't even notice it. And it's so important for us to support our NHS and for us to get our lives back on track so that we can do all the lovely wonderful things and see all our family, the people we're missing so much.
"If you really, really are worried about it, I beg you not to be. It's the right thing to do. Please, get the vaccination."
Last week, the 67-year-old star revealed he's had the vaccination, and described the process as simple and "pain free".
He tweeted: "Had my vaccine today. Pain free and so easy. Please, please, please, get it when you get the call."
Last year, the former 'Family Fortunes' host shared a poignant message to mark his 67th birthday, and revealed why the milestone held such meaning for him.
He wrote on Twitter: "My last day of being 66 coming to an end. My dad was just 66 when he died. Mortality sinks in as we pass these milestones.
"These are weird times but I'm blessed to have an amazing family. Thank you lovely ones. 67 here I come."
He later added: "Thank you all for your lovely Birthday messages. I'm overwhelmed by the love on here. Trolls are outnumbered by thoroughly decent people. As Lennon said 'Imagine all the people..'. Thank you all."
