Idris Elba is eager for a cameo role in the HBO comedy 'Girls' after meeting Lena Dunham on 'The Graham Norton Show'.
Idris Elba star fo 'Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom' has made an appeal to the show's creator and star Lena Dunham - who he was a guest alongside on UK talk show 'The Graham Norton Show' earlier this month - to write him a part on the popular programme.
He tweeted:"@lenadunham Very funny woman. Can I come do a scene on your show? (sic)"
Joking about a topless photograph of himself which he accidentally posted on the site recently, he added: "i promise, NO selfies...:) (sic)"
Although Lena is yet to agree to give the British actor a part on her show, she tweeted back: "@idriselba You are a pure pleasure, an honor to share the couch with you #selfiesforever
"PS thank you for calling me a woman, it made me feel all tingly inside <3 (sic)".
Meanwhile, Lena has admitted she has created the "perfect" role on the show for Victoria Beckham after learning the former Spice Girls singer is a big fan and was keen to make an appearance in the next
She told Grazia magazine: "I was extremely flattered to hear she would love to appear. I have the perfect part in mind and I've reached out offering her a role in an episode for next season. So fingers crossed."
