Lee Ryan wants to return to 'EastEnders' alongside his dog, who can be "the new Wellard".
The Blue singer has acquired a new pet pooch, a cavapoo called Georgie, and he is hoping his cute canine can follow in his footsteps and the famous paws of former Walford woofer Wellard - a Belgian Tervuren dog owned by Dean Gaffney's alter-ego Robbie Jackson - by appearing on the BBC One soap.
When asked if he would go back to 'EastEnders', Lee - who played Woody Woodward - said: "I don't know, maybe.
"Georgie could be like the new Wellard. I don't think he's like Wellard, he's not hard at all.
"I've always wanted a dog, and he's so sweet. We've bonded already.
"My kids can't wait to meet him, they're going nuts.
"Georgie is now going to be stitched to my hip. Where I go, he goes. He's like my new little mate."
Lee is to play the titular character in panto 'Aladdin' at London's New Wimbledon Theatre over the festive period - and he is keen to land Georgie a part in the production, too.
The 35-year-old star said: "He's going to be Aladdin's street dog. I'm getting him an agent."
Lee appeared on the latest series of 'Strictly Come Dancing' but was eliminated from the show second, just last month, and he has been inundated with people telling him he was booted out far too early.
Speaking on 'Lorraine', he added: "I was in a restaurant and people were coming up to me going, 'You were robbed.' I had so much fun, I loved it.
"I'm really privileged to be a part of it."
Lee took to Instagram on Sunday (18.11.18) to reveal Georgie was a new addition to his family, and he is "so happy" to have a new four-legged friend.
He wrote: "I just want to introduce everyone to this little fella! His name is "georgie" I am so happy to have him... perfect timing in my life to invite this loving little soul into my life #cavapoo (sic)"
