Lauren Goodger considered an abortion after falling pregnant again just eight weeks after giving birth.
The 35-year-old reality TV star welcomed daughter Larose in July 2021 and two months later, she and former partner Charles Drury discovered they were expecting again.
Lauren told The Sun newspaper's Fabulous magazine: "I was in two minds. I wasn’t sure of the right thing to do and was worried if all this would be fair on Larose.
“I didn’t want her to feel confused — she’s been my number one and I would never want her to think that had changed. Plus, the situation with me and Charlie wasn’t great.
"Everybody said, ‘Lauren, don’t go ahead — you’re fine with one child’. There was a lot to think about."
However, Lauren ultimately decided to go ahead with her second pregnancy and her new baby daughter will be born in July.
She said: "I thought, ‘I’m going to do it by myself’. And I’ve stuck with that. Being a single mum doesn’t scare me. It will be a challenge, but what a lovely challenge."
Lauren, 35, also revealed that Charles, 24, has been supportive, even though they are no longer a couple.
She said: "He 100 per cent wanted this baby, regardless of our situation. It was always going to be my choice, but he never once said he wanted me to have a termination.
"I have no worries when it comes to Charlie. He loves Larose and will love the new baby just as much.
“He’s always been there and wants to be involved, but it’s going to be mainly on me as the mother, especially when I’m breastfeeding. I wouldn’t want it any other way, though. I don’t have a nanny because I want to do it all myself.”
