Laura Whitmore thinks her beau Iain Stirling is the "heart" of 'Love Island'.
The 32-year-old television presenter can't wait to work alongside her boyfriend - who narrates the villa antics - on the upcoming winter series, with the couple travelling to South Africa together ahead of Sunday night's (12.01.20) show.
Speaking about what it will be like working on the same programme together, she said: "Well, I couldn't possibly let him go out there and have fun without me! It will be nice.
"I've always said it, he's one of the best things about the show. As the voiceover, he is the heart of it and he's saying the things that people at home are thinking but in a funnier way. He's brilliant, the show is the way it is because of him and I feel lucky to now be a part of it."
The new host - who replaced Caroline Flack after the presenter stepped down from the role following assault charges - has been coupled up with the 31-year-old comedian since 2017.
And it seems the blonde beauty has been working on her match making skills ready for the pack of new singletons entering the villa.
Laura - who will be back and forth to the UK to present spin-off show 'Aftersun' - added: "I am a good match maker! I worked with my best girl friend Alex on a show in 2012 around the Olympics called 'Beat TV' on ITV2.
"I was the host for the UK show and she was the host from Switzerland. She used to come over and do links in our studio and we had a drinks thing and I brought my best guy friend who's Irish called Greg.
"They met there. It took a few years but now they are engaged with a baby who is my godchild. I made that happen, that baby is my work!"
