Kym Marsh and Beverley Callard always laughed at "inappropriate" moments on 'Coronation Street'.
The two stars - who have played Michelle Connor and Liz McDonald respectively on the ITV show - have shared the screen a lot over the years, and Kym admitted they always struggled to keep a straight face during more serious scenes.
Writing in her column for OK! magazine, she said: "If we ever had a scene where we had to deliver bad news we couldn't stop laughing.
"It was really inappropriate. She'd say, 'Ooh, I've gone all hot now!' We used to get badly told off!"
Kym has filmed her final scenes as she prepares for life away from the cobbles, and Beverley recently revealed she is also quitting 'Corrie'.
Kym added: "[She] rung me to tell me her news about leaving 'Corrie' next year. Everyone will miss her.
"She took me under her wing right from my first day so we've always been very close."
She also hopes they can share the screen - or stage - again in the future, while they'll still be keeping in touch either way.
She said: "I hope it means we'll get to meet up more often for a few sambucas! We might even work together again, which would be lovely."
Meanwhile, the 43-year-old star is set to tour the UK in 'Elf The Musical' and she admitted the huge shows feel like a callback to her days in 'Pure & Simple' pop group Hear'Say.
Appearing on ITV's 'Loose Women' on Monday (25.11.19), she explained: "I'm kinda going to back my roots really, with the whole Hear'Say thing. First time I played an arena like that I was wearing baggy trousers with funky dance moves."
