Krupa Pattani has already filmed a 'Midsomer Murders' cameo after confirming her 'Hollyoaks' exit.
The soap star's character Farrah Maalik bowed out on Monday (27.05.19) after she was dumped by Grace Black (Tamara Wall), but the actress has already shot scenes for the hit TV drama as she looks ahead in her career.
She told RadioTimes.com: "I've already done an episode of 'Midsomer Murders' which is coming up soon.
"I just want to keep working on screen, I've been lucky enough to get a lot of opportunities over the last few years and hope that continues."
Krupa revealed the time was right for her to leave the soap after two year, and she felt "ready" to try out other roles.
She explained: "I've had such an amazing time on this show and have learned so much from amazing people, but I just want to try different things.
"It was a decision between me and Bryan (Kirkwood, executive producer) really: it was sort of coming to an end anyway and I was ready to pursue new projects."
And although she admitted she wouldn't turn down a part in another soap, the actress insisted she has a loyalty to 'Hollyoaks'.
She added: "I would never say no: if it was a good opportunity then of course I'd be very interested and consider it. But I won't lie, I do feel loyal to 'Hollyoaks!' "
Krupa's emotional exit saw Farrah's girlfriend Grace break off their relationship after she was manipulated by her own brother Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) as he tries to hide his involvement in her car crash.
