Kimberly Hart Simpson has teased a potential return to ‘Coronation Street’.
The 35-year-old actress is up for making another comeback to the ITV soap, having first played escort Nicky Wheatley in 2020 before returning earlier this year and then leaving the cobbles again just three months ago.
She told the Daily Star newspaper's Hot TV column: “I’m still alive on the show, so you never know.
"There’s no exit line on the show - I’d guess I’d gone to put the kettle on. I don’t know what it means for the future.
“But all you can do is be grateful for what happened and I will be eternally grateful for ‘Coronation Street’.”
Kimberly “absolutely” adored her time on the cobbles and getting to know all the cast and crew.
She added: “I absolutely adore it there and it surpassed all my expectations. I’ve made such life-long friends there and it’s such a special place.”
Earlier this year, she reprised the role of the sex worker who caused chaos in the marriage of Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and Daisy Midgley (Charlotte Jordan), and the ‘Mount Pleasant’ star revealed she manifested the return.
Kimberly said: “I like vision boards and on the day that I got the call for 'Corrie', I had made a vision board including the 10 things that I wanted in my life at that time - and 'Corrie' went back on there. Within two hours, I got the call to ask if I wanted to go back.”
Meanwhile, 'Corrie' bosses have also not ruled out fans seeing Nicky back on the cobbles one day.
An ITV spokesperson confirmed to Kimberly had left the soap again, but added: "That's not to say we might not see her pop up in Weatherfield again in the future."
