Kierston Wareing's teeth started to fall out after she got hooked on fizzy drinks.
The 'EastEnders' star - who was known for playing conniving Kirsty Branning in the long-running soap - used to guzzle down seven cans of Coca-Cola a day until five of her heavily-decayed gnashers came loose and dropped out of her mouth.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: "I was on two and a half litres of full fat Coca-Cola a day. But my teeth have been suffering, I had a warning a year ago, but I didn't take it seriously. A year later and I have had five teeth come out.
"It's been so painful, I've been waking up in agony and it is all down to Coca-Cola. I had an addiction to it. I would wake up in the middle of the night and I would crave a can of Coke. Then I would get up in the morning and the first thing I'd drink is a can of Coke."
The 38-year-old actress has now decided to banish the acidic beverage from her diet but, rather than following a healthy plan, she's now struck up an addiction to chocolate.
She explained: "The dentist thought I would be affected when I stopped drinking it, but I haven't. They said: 'What have you done differently?' I have four Wispas a day now. They said: 'You're not addicted to Coke, you have a sugar addiction.' "
However, although the blonde beauty believes Coca-Cola was the reason her teeth fell out, a spokesperson for the brand is convinced her poor dental hygiene didn't help.
The representative for the sugary drink told the publication: "The key to good dental health is to brush your teeth regularly. All food and drink that contains sugar and is acidic, including soft drinks, should be enjoyed in moderation."
