Kevin Clifton would never "close the door" on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The professional dancer exited the ballroom and latin show last year but would never say never to the chance of returning as the coronavirus pandemic has taught him that things can change dramatically without warning, as he planned to be on stage all year.
Speaking on his podcast, The Kevin Clifton Show, he said: "Who knows if I’ll go back to Strictly, never say never. I think if I’ve learned anything it’s you never close the door. You just don’t know how things are going to go. I thought I was going to be on stage all year and all of a sudden that’s not happening any more."
Meanwhile, Kevin previously confessed he nearly U-turned on his decision to quit 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 37-year-old dancer said: "There were a couple of conversations about it, like, 'Is it worth talking about it?' But then I thought, 'I've just made this big announcement. I don't want to look like an idiot.' I like doing different things and I don't want to get in a moment where I'm doing the same thing for the sake of it because it's perceived to be successful.
"When I was having the conversations with 'Strictly' about when is the right time for me to make this decision, I am thinking about it this year but maybe not, maybe in another year or two, I don't know. We're having a constant conversation, and at the moment I feel I've pretty much done everything there is to do on the show."
And whilst he hasn't ruled out a return, he insisted he would not be rushing back to the programme even though his live show with his sister Joanne Clifton was postponed due to coronavirus.
He said: "I can't leave my sister high and dry, and go back on 'Strictly' but I don't know. Never say never. I've made that decision [to leave 'Strictly'] and it would feel weird if I suddenly went back again."
