Kerry Katona will wear the contents of her bin for a week for new Channel 4 show 'Trash Monsters'.
The reality star, ex-England football international John Barnes, and former model Jodie Kidd are to wear their own rubbish for the programme, which will be narrated by comedian Jon Richardson, to highlight how much waste we accumulate and how we can reduce it.
'Mock the Week' star Jon said: “We have reached the stage of impending climate catastrophe where a rodent-looking comedian is forced into making well-meaning celebs go and wear their trash.
“I believe 'Trash Monsters' will be funny, enlightening and an incredibly vivid depiction of how easily we all accumulate vast amounts of waste.”
‘Trash Monsters' also aims to create a set of rules for the celebs' families to live by, to try to reduce their rubbish and the person who cuts their carbon footprint the most will win.
Earlier this month, it was revealed Kerry, 40, was the first celeb to sign up for the unusual show.
A source said: "Kerry has signed up to be one of the stars of Trash Monsters. It sounds like a really out-there concept but ultimately it’s going to encourage people to think twice about how much they waste.
"As a mum of five, with four at home, Kerry knows all too well how much big families can get through in terms of food and household items.
"She’s pretty good normally but thinks this show will help her kids understand more about waste and why it is important to try and be better.
"Having to wear the contents of her bin and re-cycling is one of the strangest things she has ever done, but Kerry thinks that could be hilarious."
