Kerry Katona has slammed the television industry as "false".
The 42-year-old star has made a career out of appearing on shows such as 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here' and previously served a panellist on 'Loose Women' since her days as part of Atomic Kiten in the late 1990s but following the scandal at 'This Morning' - which saw long time presenter Phillip Schofield step down from the ITV1 daytime show shortly before he admitted to having an extramarital affair with a younger male colleague - has claimed that there is no "realness" in the world of television anymore.
Writing in her OK! Magazine column, she said: "Last week there was so much going on with the BBC presenter allegations, anyone doing that kind of thing needs to be exposed in my opinion. The TV industry can be so false, there’s no realness anymore. After what happened recently with Philip Schofield, I think it has opened the door to getting more people talking."
Meanwhile, the OnlyFans star - was initially married to Westlife singer Brian McFadden from 2002 until 2006 and has Molly, 21, and 20-year-old Lilly-Sue with him but went on to have Heidi, 16, and Max, 15, with second husband Mark Croft and also has nine-year-old daughter DJ with the late George Kay - is engaged to fitness instructor Ryan Mahoney and went on to add that she has taken inspiration from 'The Hit List' presenters Rochelle and Marin Humes and scheduled a regular date night with her significant other.
She added: "Rochelle and Marvin Humes said recently that they try to have a date night every two weeks to keep the spark alive. Me and Ryan definitely try to do the same because we are so busy and we’re also business partners so it can be difficult when you’re wearing all these hats. We get lost sometimes. Saying that, we do spa weekends as often as we can to have that time together."
