Kerry Katona has warned Molly Smith and Tom Clare to not get "carried away" following their 'Love Island: All Stars' win.
The 43-year-old star - who was initially married to Westlife singer Brian McFadden from 2002 until 2006 and has Molly, 22, and 21-year-old Lilly-Sue with him and went on to have Heidi, 17, and Max, 15, with second husband Mark Croft as well as DJ, nine, with the late George Kay - is now engaged to fitness instructor Ryan Mahoney but after Molly and Tom announced they have bought their first home together, she has suggested that they should avoid "rushing into" things judy six months on from their victory on the ITV2 show.
Writing in her OK! Magazine column, she said: "'Love Island: All Stars'’ Molly Smith and Tom Clare have bought their first home together, which is great and congratulations to them. I do think you need to be careful when buying together so early on in your relationship, though.
"Being in a show like 'Love Island' is like a bubble rather than real life and you can get carried away. Take it from me, I fall fast and have rushed into everything! Sometimes moving fast works but other times it doesn’t, so I hope it does work out for them. But for me, I’ve been engaged for years now and it’s been really nice just taking things at our own pace."
But the former 'Loose Women' panellist noted that she "cringes" at all romantic reality television and recalled getting drunk before her appearance on 'Celebs Go Dating' just to alleviate her nerves.
She said: "When it comes to the dates, it’s nerve-wracking. I remember Pete Wicks got me drunk before my first one to calm my nerves – that was the only time I was boozy though! I’m not one to kiss on camera. Anything romantic on TV makes me cringe so I didn’t do any PDA. It’s funny because I do OnlyFans, but that’s a subscription site – not national TV!"
