Kelvin Fletcher is still being lined up to appear on 'Dancing On Ice'.
The former 'Emmerdale' star is strutting his stuff on 'Strictly Come Dancing' with Oti Mabuse at the moment but bosses at ITV are hoping he'll consider joining the ice skating show "potentially the series after next" after initially being set to join the programme for the next series due to air in early 2020.
An insider told The Sun Online: "The door is still being left open for Kelvin to return to 'DoI'. He had been agonising for ages whether to take up the 'Strictly' opportunity after being so far in advanced stages of talks with 'DoI'. But they still want him on the show for potentially the series after next."
Before joining the BBC One Latin and ballroom show, the 35-year-old actor - who portrayed Andy Sugden in 'Emmerdale' between 1996 and 2016 - was in talks to join 'Dancing on Ice' after he impressed show bosses with his ice skating videos on Instagram.
Stars confirmed for the next series include 'Love Island' beauty Maura Higgins, game show host Michael Barrymore, retired Everton footballer Kevin Kilbane, newsreader Lucrezia Millarini, 'Coronation Street' actress Lisa George and former 'EastEnders' actor Joe Swash among others.
Kevin - who only joined 'Strictly' after 'Made in Chelsea' star Jamie Laing was forced to pull out due to an injury - and Oti will perform the Cha Cha to Aston Merrygold's 'Get Stupid' when 'Strictly' returns to BBC One on Saturday night (19.10.19) at 7.15pm.
