Kelvin Fletcher has offered to return to 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The former 'Emmerdale' actor won the Glitterball Trophy in 2019 with his professional partner Oti Mabuse, and Kelvin couldn't resist but cheekily suggest he could return to the Latin and ballroom programme after former rugby star Ugo Monye - who is partnered with Oti - was ruled out of Saturday's (16.10.21) show, and Robert Webb pulled out of the competition earlier this week.
Kelvin wrote on Twitter: "I’m here if you need me @bbcstrictly [face with stuck-out tongue and winking emoji]"
But Dan Walker, who is competing in this year's 'Strictly', jokingly warded Kelvin off.
He tweeted: "There are already enough amazing dancers in this Face with tears of joyFace with tears of joy
"Keep your hips to yourself"
However, Kelvin did try to recruit one of his former 'Emmerdale' co-stars for next year's series, urging John Bowe - who played Lawrence White from 2014 to 2018 - to take part in the show.
He tweeted: "I’d love to see you on there JB x (sic)"
But John isn't too keen.
He wrote: "I’m too good. It wouldn’t be fair. I’d even embarrass the pro dancers.
"Plus…….they couldn’t afford me. (sic)"
Kelvin's offer comes after Ugo was ruled out of tomorrow's live show due to a back issue.
He wrote on Twitter: "Unfortunately I’m not going to be able to dance this weekend on the show. I have a history of back problems which has always been managed under the guidance of medical professionals. Unfortunately this has been causing me some unwanted problems this week!
"I have been advised by medical professionals and with huge support from Strictly to get some treatment & rest to ensure that I can get myself back to full capacity & fighting fit for next week.
"Gutted Oti & I won’t be dancing this weekend but wishing all the other contestants the best of luck & will be cheering them on from home! @bbcstrictly (sic)"
And earlier this week, Robert pulled out of the competition due to "ill health".
The 'Peep Show' star - who was partnered with Dianne Buswell on the show - decided to withdraw from the competition after seeking an "urgent consultation" with a specialist overseeing his recovery from heart surgery.
