Kelvin Fletcher has set his sights on landing a role on 'Midsomer Murders'.
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' champion is currently taking part in the BBC One show's tour, but afterwards he would love to try his hand at some TV drama and film roles, and wouldn't say no to a stint on the ITV detective drama.
Speaking on 'Lorraine', he said: "I would love to do musical theatre, I'm a huge musical theatre fan. I have been for many years.
"The talent that is showcased there every single night is a sight to behold.
"But my focus at the minute is TV drama. That's where I want to be, that's where I see myself.
"I'm sure there are opportunities there to do musical theatre, and I'd love to do that one day, but my focus in the immediate future is TV drama and film.
"Programmes like 'Midsomer Murders' you were just talking about."
Show host Lorraine Kelly was a big fan of that idea, and suggested Kelvin could play a dancer in the drama following his 'Strictly' success.
She said: "Yes, that's what we'll do. We'll get that sorted out.
"Maybe you could do a dancing theme and maybe the big glitterball could fall on your head?"
But Kelvin has other ideas, because he doesn't want to be killed off in the programme.
He said: "I don't want to die at the end though. I don't want to be a victim, can we not just change it somehow?"
Lorraine added: "Oh OK, you could be the murderer. It's all going to happen. We'll sit down and we'll work it out over a cup of tea that's for sure."
But if it's not TV drama, Kelvin - who played Andy Sugden on 'Emmerdale' - would love to try his hand at ballet dancing.
Speaking about a recent tribute to the ballet, he said: "I was in awe of their talent. First of all, the sense of the occasion was just incredible.
"I turned to my agent and said, 'I want to be a ballet dancer.'
"They were incredible."
And it wouldn't be anything new to Kelvin, who previously revealed he had ballet lessons during his younger years.
He said: "I did ballet. I was eight years old and I was playing rugby for my local club.
"I was having trials for my town team, but Tuesday I was doing 'good toes, naughty toes.'
"I was always like that. I always liked dancing and you'd go to class and find you had an hour acting and an hour of ballet."
