Kelvin Fletcher is reportedly being lined up for the West End.
The 'Emmerdale' actor has impressed theatre bosses with his early performances on 'Strictly Come Dancing', and after his movies week routine - which was inspired by 'Mary Poppins Returns' - he is said to received a number of big show offers.
An insider told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column: "Producers were blown away not just by Kelvin's ability to dance but his overall performance skills and his ability to connect with an audience.
"Judge Bruno Tonioli summed it up when he said Kelvin's routine was 'as good as anything I've seen on a West End stage or Broadway.'
"And the fact Kelvin chose a familiar musical film for his routine, for Strictly's [movie] week, turned it into a televised audition for the West End."
The performance was a big hit for Kevlin and his professional dance partner Oti Mabuse as they scored a huge 38 points out of 40, securing two 10s from Shirley Ballas and Bruno.
Craig Revel Horwood said it was "fab-u-lous", whilst Shirley added: "You made a difficult routine look easy to the eye. Superb."
Bruno told the duo: "Everyone's talking about Kelvin. That was as good as anything I've seen on the West End stage or Broadway."
The soap star could use 'Strictly' to kick off a stage career, in the same way the likes of Jay McGuiness, Danny Mac and Tom Chambers all moved into theatre.
This weekend, Kelvin will be hoping to continue his early form this weekend when he and Oti will be dancing the Rumba to Bill Withers' hit 'Ain't No Sunshine'.
