Kaz Crossley still has "a lot of love" for her ex Josh Denzel, and will not rule out reconciling with him.
The ex-'Love Island' star and the TV presenter announced last week they had split up after coupling up on the ITV2 show last summer, but the 24-year-old beauty has hinted the pair could get back together at some point.
Speaking on 'Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp', she said: "I definitely was in love, and I have a lot of love for Josh, we have a lot of love for each other, but it's just the circumstances that you're put in - you know, you're living in paradise and you come out and everything has changed.
"We're completely different people. Basically for me, I just want to have some time to find out who I actually am now, because everything has changed for me, and concentrate on my career.
"The same with Josh - he's so busy, flying everywhere, doing such big things, and you know, we want to put all our energy into that.
"The opportunity that we've been given and the platform that we've been given is just too big of an opportunity to just, you know, not spend any time concentrating on."
Quizzed on whether she would rule out ever getting back with Josh in the future, she said: "No, I would never rule that out. You just never know what's going to happen.
"Everything needs to be looking at what's happening now, and you know, I would never rule that out in the future."
Kaz admits she and Josh, 27, have been "really sad" following their split, after finding it "so much pressure" embarking on a relationship in the public eye following their 'Love Island' journey.
She said: "I feel like in general it's been really sad. I mean, it's sad for both of us as well, but I think just being in the public eye and everyone looking at our relationship throughout the show being so perfect, it was just such a high standard to carry on. So I think everyone is really sad.
"It's just so hard and it's so much pressure. We always said from the beginning that we would just do the right thing for both of us and make decisions not for other people but for ourselves, and you know, not rushing into moving in with each other, and yeah, it was just a mutual decision that we made. We're going to concentrate on our careers and I wish him all the best and he does with me as well."
Tune into 'Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp', week days from 6am-10am and Saturdays from 6am-9am.
