The 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional explained that she shared an intimate moment outdoors after the pair found their car too uncomfortable to make love in.
Asked if she had ever had sex outside, Katya told The Sun newspaper: “I’ve crossed that one out . . . it was in the woods.
"We were driving and stopped and then . . . hiding behind the car. It’s uncomfortable in the car. I tried, but we went outside."
Katya - who was previously married to fellow 'Strictly' pro Neil Jones - admits that she has "hated" the experience of trying to find love on dating apps during the pandemic.
The Russian dancer, who was infamously snapped kissing professional partner Seann Walsh back in 2018, said: “How else would you date someone in a pandemic? But I hated it.
"I’m an old romantic. I want to walk in the park with my dog and cross eyes with somebody, and just feel the little tingles.
"You could be chatting but unless you meet them and feel the energy that’s more important.”
Katya made 'Strictly' history on the last series as she became part of the show's first ever same-sex couple with celebrity partner Nicola Adams, although the pair were forced to withdraw from the show after she contracted COVID-19, and was "amazed" by the reaction to the partnership.
The 32-year-old star said: "It was amazing to see how much positivity came out of it.
"And for me to join that community and become part of it and see how much love and support there, that was really incredible.”
