Katie Price is set to make her reality TV comeback on 'Celebrity Cooking School.
The 44-year-old ex-glamour model has appeared on hit shows like 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' and 'Celebrity Big Brother' over the course of her career, and she is now said to be gearing up to show off her culinary skills in the Channel 4 competition after being at the "top of the bosses' wish list".
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Katie was top of the show bosses’ wish list, so they were thrilled when she agreed to do it as they’ll know she’ll make great telly.
“For Katie, it’s a chance to show a different side of herself after all the drama with her bankruptcy court case and her on-off relationship with Carl. She’s looking forward to having some fun and getting back to doing more TV again."
The star last worked with the broadcaster on her 'Mucky Mansion' series, but has not appeared on a reality game show since appearing on 'Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins'. But she became the first of the series to quit, leaving the programme after just two episodes.
The source added: "Katie is competitive so she wants to win and prove that she can go all the way. She’s no Nigella, but like she always says, never underestimate the Pricey!"
The first series of 'Celebrity Cooking School' aired in September last year and featured the likes of former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona, 'How Clean Is Your House?' star Kim Woodburn, with Laura Tott of 'First Dates' fame eventually claiming victory as champion.
