Katie Price is "happy" with her surgery scars.
The 'Loose Women' panellist joined forces with the rest of the show's presenters to launch the Body Stories campaign, which saw the loose-lipped ladies strip off for an unedited photo shoot to promote self-confidence, today (02.05.17) and has admitted, although she's gone under the knife numerous times to correct the parts of herself she didn't like, she is covered in little marks from having her skin sliced but she likes them.
Speaking in a recorded message on the programme today, Katie - who has had numerous boob jobs, botox, teeth veneers and liposuction - said when asked why she joined the campaign: "I'm proud to support this campaign, because I have as much right to own my body story as anyone. I've had five kids, lots of surgery and my body has scars on it. But I've always been open about it, it's my body and my body story and I'm happy with my body's scars and all."
Stacey Solomon - who hates her "love handles" - felt she had to join the campaign because she wants to show young girls that there's no such thing as a perfect body.
She said: "We're in times where younger people are being forced to see 'perfect bodies' on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook - certain mediums that weren't around 10 years ago. The pressure is immense [...] all that's ever drummed into their brains are these perfect pictures of people."
Linda Robson added: "It's been amazing the response to the campaign."
Andrea McLean - who hosted today's show - said that the group's campaign is a "celebration" of bodies of all shapes, sizes and ages.
She said: "[It's] to celebrate the stories that our bodies tell - no matter what age or shape we are. We all look the way we look because of our life experience, it's written all over our bodies and that makes us unique.
"We did it and we're really proud of us all. We did it!"
