Kate Lawler is in hospital after her waters broke 11 days before her due date.
The former 'Big Brother' star - who is expecting her first child with her fiance Martin, who she calls Boj - was booked in to give birth on Monday (15.02.21), but she is now waiting to hear if the hospital can fit her in for an abdominal birth, in which the fetus is delivered by surgical incision through the abdominal wall and uterus, today (11.02.21).
She wrote on Instagram: "Good morning all. My waters broke at 5:45am this morning. I’m in hospital 11 days before my due date and 4 days ahead of my planned birth but I guess little Nuchky is ready to meet us! I’ve been monitored, had bloods and Covid test and am now waiting to hear from the doctor. (sic)"
Boj isn't allowed to be with her in hospital just yet, due to coronavirus pandemic restrictions, but he will be allowed at the birth.
The 40-year-old radio DJ added: "Boj isn’t allowed in until a decision has been made on whether they can fit me in today for an abdominal birth but hopefully they can and he will be allowed to come with me for the arrival of our little girl. It’s finally happening! x (sic)"
Last month, Kate admitted she was "scared" and "upset" about the possibility of giving birth alone after the UK was hit with a third national lockdown.
She said: "I think I should invest in some waterproof mascara, don't you? I've been crying, that's why I look like death.
"I've just got off the phone to my obstetrician, we were talking about the birth and my birth has been booked in for six weeks today.
"But because Covid cases are on the rise, there's a chance that Boj [Martin] might not be able to come to hospital with me.
"I might have to go it alone, so first of all my heart goes out to any woman who had to give birth without her partner there."
