Kate Garraway turns her car into a Christmas "grotto" every year.
The 'Good Morning Britain' presenter - who has kids Darcey, 10, and Jack, five, with husband Derek Draper - knows driving to visit people can be one of the most "dull" parts of the festive season so she and her spouse do what they can to make it fun.
She said: "Since Derek and I have been married, we've spent Christmas Eve up in Manchester with my in-laws.
"Because the drive is so dull, we make the car into a grotto with decorations and Christmas music and we dress up.
"Derek was a reindeer one year but his antlers kept hitting the car roof."
Kate doesn't tend to do her Christmas shopping early because she knows her children will change their minds frequently about what they want to find under the tree.
She said: "The kids inevitably change their minds a hundred times so we don't buy anything until closer to Christmas - although they start planning as soon as the Toys R Us adverts kick in."
And the 48-year-old presenter admitted she is "terrible" at choosing gifts for her husband.
She said: "I'm terrible at his gifts - for the past few years I've been saying I'll get him golf clubs but I never do."
