Kate Garraway has found homeschooling a "real struggle" amid the latest lockdown.
The 53-year-old TV presenter - who has Darcey, 14, and Billy, 11, with husband Derek Draper - has admitted homeschooling has been "torture".
Kate - whose husband is still recovering in hospital from the after effects of coronavirus, after being diagnosed with Covid-19 in March 2020 - shared: "We have made it to Friday, a collective sign of relief to anybody who is locked into the torture of home schooling.
"First time round, I was somewhat distracted at the time, and a lot of people felt quite nice, the sun was shining, we thought, 'Great, time with the children, let's see what those teachers are doing.'
"And very quickly realised how brilliant teachers are, and this time around it's a real struggle, isn't it?"
Ben Shephard, Kate's 'Good Morning Britain' co-star, agreed the winter weather has made the latest lockdown especially tough.
The 46-year-old TV presenter - who has Sam, 13, and Jack, 15, with his wife Annie - said: "I think it's really hard this time because of the weather particularly, and the kids want to just get back to school and be with their friends."
Kate thinks the latest lockdown is proving to be particularly tough for her kids, who are desperate to spend time with their school friends.
The presenter said on 'Good Morning Britain': "They want to see other kids don't they, and it feels like here we go again."
Kate recently revealed she and her kids were able to visit Derek over the Christmas period.
Speaking about her Christmas experience, she shared: "It was tough. I knew it was going to be tough. There was a lovely moment which we did have.
"We did get to see Derek and the children did, which is the first time they've been able to do that. So that was amazing."
