Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno is to make his acting debut in 'This Is England '90'.
Thomas Turgoose - who played Shaun in the 2006 film and TV spin-offs 'This Is England '86' and 'This Is England '88' - has revealed the 'Eez-Eh' rocker joined the cast as for the upcoming next instalment.
Thomas said: "We had Serge from Kasabian DJ-ing, so we had him dressed up in 90s clobber, and he was an extra."
And the 34-year-old guitarist and songwriter has admitted he would definitely consider doing more acting in the future.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Why not? I'd love to do more."
In addition to Thomas' Shaun, Vicky McClure and Joe Gilgun's respective characters Lol and Woody will also be returning for the 90s rave culture-themed series and director Shane Meadows hopes viewers will be just as hooked this time around despite the fact the last series aired four years ago.
He said previously: "There's a blessing and a curse to the gap. The curse could be that people might not be interested any more, but it feels like the opposite has happened. The blessing is that we've had a bit of reflection time, to look at all the stories, and to figure out how to do justice to the last series. If this is the last one, it needs to fulfil its promise. That brings with it a certain pressure.'
'This Is England '90' begins on Channel 4 on September 13.
