Four contestants have been dumped from the 'Love Island' villa.
Kady McDermott, Ouzy See, Amber Wise and Josh Brocklebank have all left the villa, following a brutal dumping on the reality show.
Kady and Ouzy's exit was announced in unusual circumstances, with Whitney and Lochan - who were voted the show's favourite couple by TV viewers - opting to send them home instead of Ella B and Mitch.
Maya Jama, the show's host, explained to the Islanders: "The public have been voting for their favourite couple. We’re going to do things a little bit differently this time - you know we love a plot twist."
Whitney and Lochan were initially delighted to have been voted the show's favourite couple. But Maya, 28, then explained the plot twist to them.
She said: "I have some more news that might not be that great. The couples with the least amount of votes will be vulnerable and at risk of being dumped from the island tonight."
Whitney and Lochan were then asked to choose which of the couples they wanted to save.
Kady and Ouzy were subsequently announced as the unlucky couple - but they were both philosophical about their early exit from the villa.
Asked how she felt about the decision, Kady replied: "I'm fine with it because I know we have a connection and we're going to carry on on the outside."
Ouzy added: "I'm glad that I'm getting the chance to leave with her, rather than leaving alone."
Earlier in the show, Amber and Josh were dumped from the villa, with Maya revealing that they were the couple with the fewest public votes.
Despite this, Amber insisted she "wasn't too sad to be leaving".
She added: "I feel like I've made some really great friendships in here and I've enjoyed the experience."
