Love, Victor renewed for Season 3
Streaming service Hulu have given the green light to a third season of romantic coming-of-age comedy series Love, Victor. Whilst not surprising, the news is welcome for fans who have raved about the quality of the show, as well as critics who have delivered a 100% rating for it on reviews aggregate website, Rotten Tomatoes.
Exactly how many episodes and when the show will return hasn’t yet been revealed, but with the second season only making its debut a month-and-a-half ago, it could be some time before we revisit the stories of the LGBTQ+ youth in the series and their group of friends.
Jai Courtney joins Amazon's The Terminal List
The Suicide Squad star Jai Courtney has signed up to join Chris Pratt in new action-thriller series The Terminal List, heading exclusively to Amazon Prime Video. This marks the second time the two actors have signed up to star in an Amazon original, with the streaming company having already kicked off filming and hoping for a release at some point in 2022.
Courtney is said to be taking on the recurring guest role of ruthless billionaire Steve Horn, who will go head-to-head with Pratt's character; a former Navy SEAL called James Reece. Pratt also serves as executive producer on the series, which is based on the novel of the same name by Jack Carr.
Bob Odenkirk gives health update after “small heart attack”
Better Call Saul lead actor Bob Odenkirk collapsed whilst on the set of the show earlier this week, and the star has now taken to Twitter to explain what has happened, giving an update on his health status.
An outpouring of love from Odenkirk's costars both old and new came following the events, including Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, David Cross and Michael McKean.
Production on the final season of Better Call Saul is expected to resume just as soon as Odenkirk is well enough to get back in front of the cameras.
Netflix psychological thriller Echoes adds Matt Bomer to cast
Following his work in the first two episodes of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Stories, Matt Bomer has now signed up to star in upcoming Netflix psychological thriller Echoes; a limited series from 13 Reasons Why showrunner, Brian Yorkey.
Michelle Monaghan takes the lead roles of twins Leni and Gina. Since childhood, the pair have swapped identities which led to a double life even as adults; so when one of them goes missing, their lives are thrown into chaos.
Bomer will play Leni's husband Jack, who is described in a report by Deadline as "soulful, a loving father and a valuable member of the community who runs a successful veterinary practice and horse farm on the land that has been in his family for generations."
