Julia Hills has been cast in 'EastEnders'.
The '2point4Children' star - who played Rona Harris in the BBC sitcom - will portray larger-than-life choir leader Morag in the BBC One soap for a number of episodes in the coming weeks.
Morag will try to lead Walford's Christmas Choir to victory, but she will ruffle some feathers along the way.
Julia's first appearance will be in an episode in which Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) will attend the choir session in yet another feeble attempt to win back the affections of his ex Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite).
The 61-year-old actress is best known for taking on the role of man-eater Rona in all eight series of the popular '2point4Children', which aired from 1991 to 1999.
She also starred in sketch show 'Who Dares Wins' and has appeared in 'Casualty' in two separate stints, as well as had parts in 'Peak Practice', and 'Dad'.
Julia is no stranger to a soap having featured in 'Doctors' in 2002, and again in 2010.
This comes just a day after it was confirmed Roger Griffiths is to reprise his role as Mitch Baker on the BBC One soap.
He said: "It feels great to be returning to Albert Square and working with the wonderful cast and crew again, especially the fantastic Taylor family.
"I'm excited for the viewers to learn more about Mitch and see what trouble he gets himself into this time."
Mitch will attempt to make amends with his son Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) and ex Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley).
