Judy Finnigan has revealed she never planned to join the Loose Women panel.
The former host of This Morning vowed to never return to broadcasting following the axe of talk show Richard & Judy, but she's now one of four faces joining the ITV show and has confessed she made the decision because she thinks it'll be a fun experience.
Speaking via video chat on today's show, Judy said: "It's really odd, I hadn't planned it or thought. It was pure impulse. I had a really lovely summer and I was relaxed and happy and I've nearly finished my second book and I seriously thought, 'That sounds quite fun, I'd like to do that' ... And I'd like to talk to you lot."
Also lined up for the regular contributors are Sharon Osbourne and Rod Stewart's wife Penny Lancaster, as well as Gloria Hunniford who took part in his first show today.
Gloria said: "I am excited. It's so lovely to be here with the girls, I'm really happy."
Loose Women continues weekdays on ITV.
