Juan Mata will star in new football documentary series 'Living Abroad'.
The 32-year-old Manchester United player will join fellow Spanish footballers Xavi Hernández, David Villa and Javi Martínez for the upcoming Amazon Prime Video unscripted series as they navigate their careers playing for teams outside of Spain.
Each player and their families will open up about their new lives living abroad, across four 35-minute episodes.
Viewers will get a glimpse into their personal and private lives living in the UK as well as in Japan, Qatar and Germany both on and off the pitch.
Head of Prime Video Content Ricardo Cabornero said: "With this new docuseries our Prime members will get an inside look at some of the biggest stars in Spanish football as we watch them live abroad.
"We're excited to be launching this exclusive docuseries on the 10th anniversary of Spain winning the World Cup in South Africa."
Mata first came to the UK in 2011 to join the Chelsea football team following a £23.5 million deal with Valencia CF.
He later transferred to Manchester United in 2014 with the football club paying Chelsea a then club record fee of £37.1 million (€46 million), with Mata signing a contract until the summer of 2018.
The sports star was offered a new two-year contract with Manchester United in June 2019, keeping him at the club until June 2021 with the option of a further year.
Last week, the midfielder joined the judging panel for an art competition ran by the PFA Charity, which helped raise funds for NHS Charities Together and the Prince's Trust.
The competition saw children and adults submit paintings and drawings on the theme of the NHS and community spirit, with individual prizes across four age groups including matchday tickets for next season and football shirts.
'Living Abroad' will launch in the UK and Spain on Prime Video on June 5th.
