Josie Gibson cried for 30 minutes after making her 'This Morning' presenting debut on Tuesday - and she is back in place of Holly Willoughby again today.
The former 'Big Brother' star stepped in for Holly on yesterday's show (16.11.21) after the regular co-host was struck down with a stomach bug - which has also ruled her out of today's (17.11.21) show - and Josie was overcome with emotion after presenting the programme alongside Phillip Schofield.
She said: "Social media can be quite a dark place at times, but yesterday I was showered with love.
"There are some really lovely, good people about.
"It's really embarrassing, but I did have a good cry for about half an hour."
Phil asked Josie if she had cried tears of "relief", and she replied: "It was just so emotional. It was a really big thing to be sat here with you yesterday, and to have all those lovely messages.
"I can't thank you guys at home enough.
"I want Holly to get better by the way, I can only wing it for so much."
Phil also issued an update on Holly's condition.
He said: "I was texting Holly all afternoon yesterday and, apparently, it is a tummy bug that is going around everywhere. It's a two-day thing, so she's lost her appetite.
"Morning, Hols. Hope you're all right."
What's more, Holly took to her Instagram Stories earlier today to thank Josie for stepping in, and admitted she would be back in the hot seat when she is no longer being sick.
She wrote: "Thank you @josiegibson85 for saving the day yesterday... you are a dream! ... I'll be back as soon as I'm in no threat of vomiting on @schofe (sic)"
On yesterday's show, Phil revealed something "really weird" happened on Monday night (15.11.21), in which a widow in her 80s, Margaret - who has previously appeared on the programme when Josie went on a walk with her, because she was feeling lonely - told Josie she would receive a phone call on Tuesday morning asking her if she wanted to co-host the show.
And on today's show, Josie revealed she spoke to Margaret yesterday, who correctly predicted she would be back on the programme today.
