Josie Gibson could have a big career decision to make

The 'This Morning' presenter - who rose to fame as a contestant on 'Big Brother' back in 2010 - is said to be in talks to sign up for both the BBC talent contest and ITV's huge jungle survival series and she's going to have to make a big decision on which show she'd rather take part in.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Obviously, she already knows a lot of the executives at ITV and it makes sense for the channel to recruit in-house for their biggest, most-watched reality show of the year.

"But BBC bosses are desperate for her to appear on Strictly as she’s exactly the kind of warm, engaging person they love — one who will always be a hit with viewers."

The insider went on to add Josie would be able to inspire 'Strictly' viewers if she decides to embark on a fitness journey by throwing herself into training for the show.

However, it's not going to be an easy choice to make. The source went on to say: "In terms of scheduling, it is easier for her to appear on 'I’m A Celeb' and she’d probably be a big hit with other celebrities in the jungle Down Under.

"But in terms of profile 'Strictly' probably edges it and Josie would love to a rumba.”

Previous reports suggested Josie - who joined 'This Morning' as competitions announcer and roving reporter in 2019 before becoming a fill-in presenter two years later -was in advanced talks with 'I'm A Celeb' bosses to land a £100,000 fee to head to Australia to take part in the tough jungle challenge later this year.

A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper's Bizarre TV column: “'I’m A Celeb' producers have begun negotiations with Josie’s team to try and lure her with a £100,000 contract. Talks are at an advanced stage. Josie has been a fan of the series for many years and is interested and looking at the bigger picture of her TV career. The stint could propel her into the mainstream and land her bigger gigs."
