Josie Gibson is taking a break from social media because she's grown tired of the "negativity".
'This Morning's roving reporter has revealed she's stepping away from Twitter for a while in order to escape the toxic atmosphere on the platform.
Josie wrote on Twitter: "Right I am off my phone and Social until The 13th Jan so if I don't reply I'm not being rude. I just keep finding myself on my phone and reading into all the negativity and it's not healthy for anyone. I actually feel like AI I'm on my phone so much its disturbing. (sic)"
Josie, 35 - who previously starred on 'Big Brother' - has more than 300,000 followers on Twitter, but didn't specify what prompted her to leave the platform.
Meanwhile, Josie recently expressed her support for her close pal Alison Hammond, after it was announced she would host 'This Morning's Friday shows alongside Dermot O'Leary.
Josie hailed Alison as "one of the hardest-working people" she knows.
Speaking about Alison's recent promotion, she said: "I am so proud of her. She’s been there for nearly 19 years and she is one of the hardest-working people I’ve ever known.
"No one sees all the stuff behind the scenes, they just see Alison having a laugh - but that’s a technique she’s got. I’m so happy that she’s been recognised to get on there and be one of the main hosts."
Josie also revealed that Alison had supported her during the first coronavirus lockdown.
She shared: "During the first lockdown, I don’t think I would have been able to get through it if it wasn’t for her.
"She was ringing me seeing if I was all right and we would be on the phone to each other for hours."
