Jorgie Porter is set to star in the forthcoming remake of 'Are You Being Served?'
The 'Hollyoaks' actress, 28, has landed the role of Miss Croft in the revived version of the BBC One sitcom, which was last aired in 1985 following a 13-year run, when it returns next year following 31 years away from screens.
Derren Litten, who wrote 'The Catherine Tate show' and is set to pen the script, said: "It was just too exciting an opportunity to pass up, and I am unanimous in that."
The comedic show is being revamped to celebrate the programme's 60th anniversary, which will see a return to the original characters, as well as new additions and, although it's only been given the go-ahead for a one-off series, it's thought the programme could return for more installments.
'Benidorm' star Sherrie Hewson has also been lined up for the show as she takes on the role of Mrs Slocombe, while 'Gavin and Stacey's' Mathew Horne will play Young Mr Grace - the grandson of original Young Mr Grace - and 'Only Fools and Horses' star John Challis will take on Captain Peacock.
The revamped series will be set in 1988 - two years after the sitcom's original run - and will see Young Mr Grace attempt to "drag" the Grace Brothers into his era but things don't go according to plan as Captain Peacock is still stuck in 1985.
Shooting for 'Are You Being Served?' is set to kick off next month and the show is scheduled to hit screens in 2016.
