Jordan Banjo still speaks to his brother Ashley Banjo's ex-wife all the time.
The ‘Diversity’ star, 30, regularly chats to Francesca Abbott, the ex of the 'Dancing on Ice' judge, 34, “every day” despite their split - which the pair, who have daughter Rose, four, and son Micah, three, announced in December last year - because he sees her as a “big sister”.
Jordan told OK! magazine: “I've known Chess since I was 10 years old. There's never been a point where she hasn't been in my life or a like a big sister to me.
"So to me, nothing has changed.
"For me, Chess is still my older sister. I speak to her every day."
As well as being brothers, Jordan - who has son Cassius, four, Mimi, three, and another one the way with his wife Naomi, 31, who he married last year - and Ashley have another connection in that their daughters are in the same class at school.
Jordan said: "Ashley's daughter and my daughter are not just the same school and in the same year - they're literally in the same class.
"So we're together all the time. But for me, you know, nothing's changed. Chess is still my big sister, and obviously Ash is my big brother."
Last winter, Francesca and Ashley - who tied the knot in 2015 - revealed they had gone their separate ways.
They said in a joint statement: "After much thought and consideration, we both feel now is the time to share some personal news.
"Nearly 18 months ago we took the decision to separate.
"After being together for over 16 years, since we were teenagers, this is not a decision that has been taken lightly.
"It has not been easy and the processing of the situation has not been fast by any means. But we feel that as we approach the new year it is time to share this news with others.
"Our main focus will always be our beautiful children. Every decision that has been made is to make sure we can continue as a loving family and give the very best of ourselves as parents."
