Jonathan Ross is set to front his own game show.
The 57-year-old television presenter has landed his own primetime series titled 'Game of Your Life', which will see players attempt to win £100,000, and it's believed it'll hit television screens later this year providing the pilot is well received this month.
The show, which is being filmed later this month at the Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, will see players set questions based on their lives as a team of the nation's "finest boffins" attempt to answer them in the hope of bagging them the prize.
A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Jonathan is great under pressure and has a razor-sharp mind, so he could easily be one of the quiz boffins rather than the host. But he's a great choice for it.
"The first run-through will be at Elstree later this month and everyone is hopeful it will be a hit. It's early days and being made as a pilot, as is the way with any new format. But given the country's love of quizzes, the signs are good."
It's not yet known what channel the show will air on but Jonathan is certainly experienced when it comes to fronting a quiz show as he appeared in an 'Only Fools And Horses' Christmas special hosting a game called 'Gold Rush'.
Meanwhile, Jonathan's new gig comes just months after it was reported that Jimmy Carr was going to launch his own chat show to rival 'The Jonathan Ross Show'.
A source said recently: "The show is in the very early development stages at the moment, but bosses are excited by the fresh, new, concept which allows people to interact with celebrities and get their point of view across. There is hope that it could give some of the rival shows such as Jonathan Ross and Graham Norton a run for their money, as the public won't shrink away from asking tough questions."
