Jon Courtenay will pay homage to Les Dawson during the 'Royal Variety Performance'.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' winner will honour the legendary comedian - who died in 1993 - in his comedy piano act as a tribute to those who have come before him.
He told the Daily Star newspaper's Hot TV column: "I wanted to give a nod to some of the giants whose shoulders I'm standing on at The Royal Variety in my song. It's the perfect opportunity.
"Les is one of my heroes. I even show old videos of his bad piano playing to my nine year son and he falls about laughing. What Les did on that piano is an art form and hard to repeat. I won't give too much away but expect some bum notes in my act. Hopefully intentional ones!"
'The Royal Variety Performance' will take place in the Blackpool Opera House with a stellar line-up, including Captain Sir Thomas Moore, Michael Ball, Gary Barlow, Sheridan Smith and a special message from Prince Charles.
The show will follow strict government guidelines to prevent the spread of the coronavirus by social distancing and a virtual audience.
However, Jon is disappointed he won't be able to get up close to Prince Charles due to social distancing measures.
He added: "It's a shame I won't shake hands with royalty or see them chuckle at my jokes."
Still, the 47-year-old comedian is looking forward to being in front of an audience once again during his 'What's It All About?' tour next year.
He has promised to share funny tales of his life, family and relationships through music, including his 'Britain's Got Talent' hits and classic rock 'n' roll.
He admitted: "I can't wait to be in front of a live audience after so long."
