'Benidorm' chiefs are in talks with Johnny Vegas about bringing him back to the show.
The 42-year-old comedian played holidaymaker Geoff Maltby, often known as The Oracle, in the ITV sitcom for the first three series from 2007 to 2009, and he has confirmed negotiations have taken place for many of the original cast members to make a come back to the programme.
Speaking on tomorrow night's (09.11.13) episode of 'The Jonathan Ross Show', he says: "There's talks of the cast, the original cast, coming back for the next series. It's in talks, I can't confirm anything."
While Johnny is not sure if he will definitely return to the show for next year's seventh series, he is keen to reprise his role because he enjoyed watching the programme back with his mother when he was in it.
He adds: "It would be lovely to go back. It's one of those shows ... it was one of the few things I did that my mum could watch and enjoy."
'The Jonathan Ross Show' airs Saturday at 9:35pm on ITV.
