The 50-year-old chef has admitted that he and his 43-year-old TV presenter girlfriend - whom he met while judging 'Celebrity MasterChef' in 2010 - love to cook recipes together.
Asked how often he cooks, John said: "I cook every single day and I love it and that's what I do, it's what I'm really good at and I'm really happy doing it. My kids love the food and I love the food and Lisa and I like to cook together. It's good."
John also claimed that he and Lisa don't follow a schedule when it comes to deciding who's turn it is to cook dinner and although they now live together, he revealed they sometimes make separate meals.
He told ITV's 'This Morning': "We sort of just ... Things just sort of happen. I don't know, it just works, one night I might cook, one night she might or one night I might be doing salad and she might make something else. It just happens."
