John Challis is to make a guest appearance in an upcoming episode of Benidorm.
The 'Only Fools and Horses' actor, who played second-hand car salesman Boycie in the series for over 20 years, has been confirmed as one of a number of stars set to make an appearance in the upcoming seventh series, according to Unreality TV.
The 71-year-old star revealed last year that Derren Litten, the ITV series' writer, was keen for him to join the cast but confessed his busy schedule had forced him to turn down the role.
He said: "I was really up for that, but sadly I was not available and they couldn't work around my commitments."
However, John, along with former 'EastEnders' actress Nadia Sawalha, is now set to make a guest appearance in the comedy, which is set in a Spanish holiday resort.
Meanwhile, Joan Collins will be reprising her role as resort CEO Crystal Hennessy-Vass after a successful two-episode run in the last series.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "She'll be playing the same role as last time and hopefully will get a few more lines this time round."
Filming for the seventh series - which will be broadcast later this year - is said to be underway, with the 81-year-old actress joining members of the cast on set this week.
The source added: "Joan is on set this week and is getting stuck in with everyone. She'll probably only be in one episode again but if she can't tear herself away, who knows..."
