John Bishop and his wife Melanie have tested positive for coronavirus.

The 54-year-old comedian and his spouse received their test results on Christmas Day (25.12.20) and were left "wiped out" by the infectious respiratory disease.
He wrote on Instagram: "This came through on Christmas Day. This has been the worst illness I have ever had. Incredible headaches, muscle and joint point, no appetite, nausea, dizziness, chronic fatigue like I didn't know existed . My wife and I are fit non smokers and this has wiped us out . I know statistics suggest a 99.9% survival rate but that doesn't mean I would wish this experience on anyone . Keep Safe. (sic)"
A number of famous faces took to the comments section to wish the Liverpudlian and his other half a speedy recovery.
TV presenter Gabby Logan wrote: "So sorry to hear this JB loads of love from the Logans."
'Marcella' star Anna Friel shared some home remedies with the couple, writing: "Feel ya, hear ya. Same in this house hold!! Vit c. Take it like it's going out of fashion. @johnbish100 (sic)"
While 'Top Gear' star Paddy McGuinness also wished the family well, adding: "Hope you and Mel are both getting better every day pal. Load of love to the family."
Meanwhile, John is set to guest star in an episode of 'Doctor Who'.
It was recently revealed that The Sontarans will feature in the upcoming series of the hit BBC sci-fi show and the comic features in the same episode.
The clones - which were first introduced in 1973 - are poised to make a dramatic return after a 12-year absence.
A source claimed: "Instead of the blue armour they have worn in more recent series, the Sontarans have returned to a more traditional black and silver look.
"They are still short and exude plenty of menace. Should be fun."
The Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) will confront The Sontarans for the first time in more than a decade.
Chris Chibnall, the showrunner at 'Doctor Who', recently hinted the warriors would return for the series, which is set to air in 2021.
He said last month: "More monsters are coming back."
