John Bishop was involved in a car crash this week - because of a "big chicken" crossing a road.

The 54-year-old comedian revealed his Range Rover was damaged after he hit the roadway barriers while swerving to avoid a collision with another car.
On Tuesday night (20.07.21), he shared pictures of the wreck and posed for a picture with police officers and wrote on Instagram: "I was driving to catch a ferry to Ireland when something happened!!
"To avoid a car that was swerving to avoid a 'big chicken' as I overtook I ended up like this.
"Nobody was hurt thanks to @landrover_uk being brilliant and no oncoming traffic."
John thanked the "helpful" officers and revealed he was able to get onto a later ferry crossing.
He added: "I missed my ferry but went on as a foot passenger on a later one thank to James and Tony from @dyfedpowyspolice .
"Amazing how helpful people can be when you need them and thanks to the other drivers for staying including Andrew who I think sadly hit the 'big chicken' anyway (sic)"
He initially shared the post earlier in the day, but deleted it and appeared to share it again with the car's registration blurred out.
His fans and fellow stars flooded the post with messages of support.
Gabby Logan commented: "Hope you are ok. X (sic)"
David Morrissey added: "Glad you're ok mate!"
However, some followers couldn't resist a joke after reading about the "big chicken".
One fan quipped: "Oh man, that’s scary! Glad you are ok, must be shaken!! But why did the chicken cross the road? (sic)"
And another said: "Oh god the poor big chicken!! Now there's a wife and baby chickens who think he's run off with some other chick, and they will be calling him a c***, not knowing he's actually dead."
