Joey Essex and Sam Faiers have been in talks for 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.

The 'Only Way is Essex' couple - who got engaged in the last series of 'TOWIE' - have both been in negotiations with producers of the show, but Joey thinks he might be too scared to rough it on the Australian jungle-based programme.

Sam said: "We have both had conversations about the jungle and we would both love to do the show together."

Joey, 22, added: "I think I'd scream all over. I'm really bad with bugs.

"A bug hit me on safari and I thought I was going to get malaria. But it turned out a leg hair got caught on my trousers and a little spot came up."

However, if Joey does decide to take the plunge then he is prepared to grow his hair long for the experience.

He added: "I don't know what I'd do about my hair. Do they have shavers in there? I'd have to grow my hair long."

Should Sam and Joey star in the show they will follow in the footsteps of former 'TOWIE' star Mark Wright, who finished runner-up to McFly bassist Dougie Poynter on the programme in 2011.
