Joel Dommett is set to front his own television show.
The 31-year-old comedian won over the hearts of the nation late last year when he took part in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!', in which he came second, and now small screen executives have now starting approaching him about projects.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, he said: "It feels like it's happened at the right time. If it had been three years ago I would have been a bit green and maybe not have dealt with it quite as well. I can put projects I've been working on into action now.
"I'd taken ideas to channels which would knock them back because someone with a bigger profile would come along. Now people are saying 'let's make it' and I'm working on ideas for TV shows, chat shows, panel shows, scripted projects, books - I love being busy and I write as much as I can every day."
Joel, who has been performing for 10 years, is currently on a UK stand up tour and said he's throwing everything into the shows as he doesn't want to waste the experience.
He said: "It's the longest tour I've done by far - it's the last three shows I've done all melded together. I'm doing the Hammersmith Apollo for the first time. It's bizarre. It feels like I've robbed a bank and got away with it.
"I don't want to waste this experience and I'm throwing everything at these dates."
The comedian also has been to Mongolia for his new TV show 'Tribal Bootcamp' and said the country is "beautiful" and "full of nothing".
Joel said: "It's such a beautiful, massive country full of nothing. It's so empty and the people are so lovely."
