Jodie Marsh and her film crew got kidnapped in a German brothel while shooting 'Jodie Marsh on the Game'.
The model-turned-documentary-maker feared for her life when she got trapped by a brothel owner in Germany while she was shooting her new TLC project, which explores the dark world of prostitution, but it was only then that she realised she hadn't taken any security with her to the country.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It was scary being in Germany because we were getting death threats from pimps and we were getting death threats from the owners of the brothels.
"We realised in Germany that we had been very stupid and very naïve to travel without security. We were in a brothel at one point and the owner locked the door and was like, 'You're not leaving.'
"We were like, 'Are you kidnapping us? What are you doing?' We got stuck there for a number of hours and we crapped ourselves. We should have brought security - what were we thinking?"
The 34-year-old star and her film crew travelled to Germany, Amsterdam and Manchester to make the documentary, but she assumed they would be safe wherever they went because they were working for Discovery Channel.
Speaking at the launch of her two new documentaries, 'Jodie Marsh on Steroids' and 'Jodie Marsh on the Game', the brunette beauty added: "We just thought having Discovery Channel behind us we'd be laughing. 'It's OK, we're with Discovery Channel, no one is going to hurt us.'
"The next thing we know someone is locking us in a brothel going, 'You're not leaving. We're keeping you here. All your equipment is locked in a room. You're stuffed.' "
'Jodie Marsh on Steroids' and 'Jodie Marsh on the Game' premiere on TLC on October 22 and 29 at 10pm.
