Joanna Page is ready to swap acting for TV presenting - but she would be tempted back for another episode of 'Gavin and Stacey'.
The 'Pet Show' hosting is currently expecting her fourth child with her actor husband James Thornton, and she believes presenting would "work a lot better" for her.
Joanna - who has daughter Eva, eight, and sons Kit, six, and Noah, four, with ex-'Emmerdale' star James - said: "I really enjoy presenting and it works a lot better with a family as you don’t have to go away for weeks on end.
"For the first six months after I had Eva I was away working filming two shows back to back.
"I had my mum looking after her on set but it was so tough as all I wanted to do was spend time with my new baby.
"Also, I just find presenting a lot more interesting. You’re always doing something different and I love just being myself and chatting to people."
But the 'Shop Well For Less' host would return to acting for another episode of popular BBC comedy 'Gavin and Stacey'.
A Christmas special aired in 2019 following a nine-year break, and the episode ended in a cliffhanger as Nessa (Ruth Jones) proposed to Smithy (James Corden).
Joanna admits the whole cast are keen to find out what his answer will be.
She said: "We all want to know what Smithy said at the end."
But the 44-year-old star admitted if co-creators Ruth and James do pen another episode, they will probably do so in secret - as they did with the festive special - and then ring the cast afterwards.
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I’d expect if it was ever going to be on TV again that getting another phone call out of the blue is what would happen."
Joanna revealed in August she is expecting her fourth child, and admitted her pregnancy was "a surprise".
She wrote on Instagram: "Well, this is a surprise!! Baby number 4 on the way! It’s going to be a busy Christmas! #pregnant #babyontheway@jamesthornton_ (sic)"
