Jessie J wants to perform on 'The X Factor'.
The 'It's My Party' hitmaker - who was previously a coach on the talent show's rival 'The Voice' - admits she would like to take to the stage for the forthcoming live shows, but would never be a judge on the programme.
She told Digital Spy: "I'd definitely go on to perform on 'The X Factor'. I love being an artist on those shows, but I don't feel comfortable being on the show.
"It's never me saying I hate those shows, it's just you have to do what represents you. I felt more comfortable as a coach and what the role required."
But the 25-year-old singer refused to be drawn on comparisons between 'The Voice' and 'X Factor' because she thinks they are too different.
She explained: "It's a lazy comparison - they're completely different shows. They have different outcomes."
Despite this, she previously hit out at shows similar to the BBC talent contest insisting 'The Voice' "celebrates singing" instead of using its air time to "ridicule people" and doesn't edit footage "to make it look like the contestant was horrific".
Jessie stepped down from her 'The Voice' role to focus on her music career but is not convinced the show will do well next year.
She added: "Who's to know if 'The Voice' is going to work for a third series? Just because we want it to, doesn't mean it's going to.
"Who's to say my album is going to work? I'm going to work my a**e off, but the people have the power."
